Richard Klyce and Cathy Paxton pictureAbout Us

Richard Klyce and Cathy Paxton, a husband and wife team, are American entrepreneurs. Their current venture,Western Moto Riders, evolved from Richard's personal experience of touring Central Oregon by motorcycle and realizing the amazing rides one can enjoy here, traffic free! From sweepers to go-fast stretches, this mountainous desert is rich with little-traveled, two-lane paved roads that feature breathtaking vistas.  As this tourist wonderland is a destination for all kinds of outdoor lovers, Richard saw an opportunity to create a unique travel experience for fellow riders, one that draws upon the rich cultural heritage of the American West.

Creativity is Richard and Cathy's lifeblood. For over two decades, they enjoyed successful theatrical careers in Santa Fe, Denver and Seattle.  Upon relocating to Central Oregon in 1992, they started a buisness manufacturing and installing small storage buildings. Adventurers in work and play, they live in a log home on 5 acres in Crooked River Ranch, where they share the rugged canyon with their dog, neighbor sheep, llamas and horses, curious coyotes, and the occasional cougar.
